Overhead Door Company of Torrington came into existence on September 1, 1980. When Michael J. Kearns was discharged from the U.S. Army on October 29, 1971, he returned home to Connecticut just nine days later. Michael began installing Overhead Doors in early November. Summing up his over 50 years of experience, Michael says, "Fell in love with the business; fell in love with the industry. Been at it ever since."
Since its inception, Overhead Door Co. of Torrington has grown from a three-man operation to a full-scale organization capable of meeting your needs with a versatile array of equipment to satisfy the residential, commercial, and industrial sector and marketplace.
